Single User  GOLD SERVICE SUPPORT

What is it?

The TekMedic® Gold Service provides you with a straightforward and timely response to all your IT problems for a fixed monthly fee. With our broad experience we can resolve the majority of IT issues remotely using our Remote Rescue service, but if onsite assistance is required, we’ll be there when you need us. We try to remove the perception of working with IT as being a black art by clearly reporting on any issues we resolve and giving advice on how best to avoid similar problems in the future. We’re here to help you get the most out of technology.

The Single User package is for single PC or laptop users, whether you’re working from home or from business premises.

What are the benefits?

Remote support via telephone, email and our Remote Rescue service (see opposite) for:

Remote Rescue overview

Our Remote Rescue service provides on-demand remote support for rapid resolution of IT issues anywhere in the world. No need for any software to be pre-installed on your PC and no need for any changes to your firewall settings.

  • Interactive chat and detailed session history
  • Prompts to permit or deny engineer access to all functions
  • File transfer to/from the engineer
  • Ability to stop Remote Control or disconnect at any time

Once we have successfully connected to your PC, we will be able to:

  • View exactly what you can see on your PC, to help you illustrate your problem
  • Take control of your PC, to allow us to resolve issues and show you how to complete common tasks
  • Chat interactively with you, via the downloaded applet (saving telephone call costs)
  • Extract detailed system diagnostics to help us identify the problem quickly

** Onsite charges - £85 + VAT per callout, includes first 30 minutes onsite then £65 per hour (billed per half hour period).
