Our Remote Rescue service provides on-demand remote support for rapid
resolution of IT issues anywhere in the UK. No need for any
software to be pre-installed on your PC and no need for any changes to your
firewall settings.
Simply call one of our engineers on 0870 162 4922 and you will
be given a PIN code to enter at the top of the page (valid for 30 minutes).
Then, with your permission, a small file (applet) will be downloaded to your
PC. The applet provides you with:
- Interactive chat and detailed session history
- Prompts to permit or deny engineer access to all functions
- File transfer to the engineer
- Ability to stop Remote Control or disconnect at any time
Once we have successfully connected to your PC, we will be able to:
- View exactly what you can see on your PC, to help you illustrate your problem
- Take control of your PC, to allow us to resolve issues and show you how to complete common tasks
- Chat interactively with you, via the downloaded applet (saving telephone call costs)
- Extract detailed system diagnostics to help us identify the problem quickly
The access to your PC is only temporary. Once a Remote Rescue session is
over, all access rights will be automatically revoked to protect your
privacy.

* This charge covers remote support for up to 1 hour, after which time you
will be charged £20 for every 30 minutes or part thereof.
Restrictions: We can only provide the Remote Rescue service to
PCs running Windows 98, ME, 2000 & XP and servers running Windows Server
2003 (any edition). You must also be able to start your PC and connect to
the Internet before we will be able to provide remote support. If your PC
will not start or can not connect to the Internet, then we will be happy to
provide onsite assistance.
